Our One Year Anniversary

Last night was our one-year anniversary of Thunderview CEO Dinners, and what a year it has been!

Last night gave me a chance to remember the reason it’s so important to bring us all together once a month — the amazing and supportive community we have created!

The importance of our community was highlighted by our three presenters last night, all of whom left us with invaluable insights and practices for strengthening our mental health and wellness.

Jess Ward (CEO & Founder of Athinka) introduced us all to NLP (neuro-linguistic programming, NOT natural language processing ) and provided us with a framework for organizing our thoughts and feelings to better achieve our goals — something I can’t wait to use in my daily life.

She was followed by Jolie Wills (CEO & Founder of Hummingly), who discussed her three strategies to avoid burnout and provided us with an awesome interactive activity that got us all on our feet and with take-home cards to help remind us how to perform better under pressure.

Finally, Andrea LeGros (Founder of Two Moons Collective) led us all in a few minutes of breathwork followed by a sound bath that left us oscillating at new levels.

I am so unbelievably grateful to all of them, and hope you got even half as much out of it as I did! I have to believe you did, because not a single person was out of their chair when we closed the night at 9:15 pm!

We’re already looking forward to April, and hoping to see all of your happy, healthy faces then! The first 20 returning CEOs who sign up can skip the application process and purchase your ticket today!

Team shoutouts:

  • Megan, who can help with any of your PR or content marketing needs;

  • Lizzie, who has a marketing/comms background, and now runs her own Integrative Health coaching practice;

  • Danny and the Merc, who should be your first thought for live music, date nights, and events!

  • Joe, who would love to take your headshots as well as any other photography needs

  • Eric, who coaches startups professionally and can help you identify your most important priorities and then execute on them (customer discovery, sales, fundraising, etc).

  • I also want to thank our volunteers, Arielle Evano and Paul Traficanti!

On to the asks!

Once again, the first 20 returning CEOs can buy your tickets right here right now. But even still, that doesn’t mean the rules have changed. Let’s keep the spirit of the community going by…

  • Helping another CEO with an Ask (see below), and;

  • Referring another CEO to sign up! Post about us on LinkedIn, include us in your email newsletter, share our YouTube video with your founder friends, or whatever creative way you choose to get the word out. And, you can always just suggest us directly to your favorite startup CEO.

And please, follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn, and on Slack (#Thunderview-CEO-Dinner-Alumni)

All the good vibrations!

Eric!

First off, a bunch of folks had to skip at last minute because of the plague. No, you weren’t alone, and we hope you feel better soon! And, seriously, thank you for choosing to miss over getting another 40 people sick. You rock.
